Top 5 Tuesday is a weekely post created and hosted by the lovely Shannah at Bionic Book Worm. She’s an absolute sweetheart and her blog is amazing so make sure to check out her blog if you haven’t yet!
This week’s topic is Top 5 funniest characters!
The entire cast of Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo: honorable mentions to Matthias, Nina and Jesper
If you know me at all then you’d know that this is my absolute favorite series in the whole entire world. A big part of the reason why I love ths so much, is because I adore the characters with my entire heart, especially the dynamics between them. I personally think all of the characters are funny, and their interaction hilarious, but the three mentioned above definitely stand out for their wits.
This is the third book in my favorite romance series. Once again, I love this series because I love the characters and Cletus is one I’ll never be able to forget.
He’s one of those guys that’s so straight-forward and serious that doesn’t realize how hilarious they trully are, and therefore everything they say and do is automatically 10 times funnier.
Sienna Diaz from Grin & Beard it (Winston Brothers #2) by Penny Reid
Another character from this amazing series. Contrary to Cletus, Sienna knows she’s funny, and she owns it. She has some of the most intelligent and funny come backs in the world, I adored her with my entire heart and is probably the funniest character from the entire list in my opinion.
Alex Claremont-Diaz from Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
Everybody knows about this story, everybody knows about this romance but does everybody realize how trully hilarious Alex is? The scene with the turkeys (ya’ll know what I’m talking about if you’ve readi it), OH MY GOSH I almost cried from laughter!
The banter between Alex and Henry will always be one of my favorites.
The dynamics between Breeze, Ham, Dockson and Clubs from The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) by Brandon Sanderson
Speaking of banter, I dare you to find a funniest group of people than these four together. I missed whenever they weren’t on page because I couldn’t stop smiling and grinning whenever they had any sort of conversation.
I read this last year and never continued with the series and I’m seriously considering a reread just because of these four.
What are some of the funniest characters you’ve read? Do we have any in common? Let me know!
Until next time,
