Top 5 Tuesday: Fantasy Books

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekely post created and hosted by the lovely Shannah at Bionic Book Worm. She’s an abslute sweetheart and her blog is amazing so make sure to check out her blog if you haven’t yet!

This week’s topic is Top Five Fantasy Books!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling

This is my favorite book from the series. I absolutely love every single thing about it. The new characters, que start of a hinted romance between Ron and Hermione (even though I’m hard core Dramione shipper. When she punches him in the face is so ICONIC).

This book also has some of my favorite moments from the entire series and it’s also my favorite movie.

The Monsters of Verity duology by V. E. Schwab

I recently reread This Savege Song and read Our Dark Duet and I freaking loved them guys.

I had already given 5 stars to This Savage Song and the reread only added to my love for this series. It is one of the most interesting and unique worlds I’ve ever read and I love the two main characters with a passion.

 Vicious by V. E. Schwab

This is a recent read. I finished it earlier this month and it’s hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life.

The characters were unbelievable morally grey but I couldn’t help but love them dearly. The story was again brilliant and original. I loved the different plot twists of the novel, I never saw them coming, and the ending is the most perfect ending I’ve ever read in my life.

The three books I’ve read by V. E. Schwab have managed to make it to this list so I think it’s pretty safe to say that I strongly recommend checking her books out if you’re looking for a great fantasy read.

Rojo y Oro by Iria G. Parente and Selene M. Pascual

I’m losing count over the amount of times I’ve mentioned this book on my blog but that’s because it is a gem.

This features one of my favorite characters of all time. It’s incredibly diverse, it’s greek mythology inspired. You will bawl your eyes out and your heart will hurt but it will blow you away.

If you speak spanish, please, please, please. Pick it up.

The Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo

125007696x 22299763I’ve already mentioned this but I won’t get tired of saying it: this is my favorite series.

I love this with a passion like anyother. I would literary die for this characters and I reread passages multiple times a month.

I currently don’t have any of the books with me since I lend one to my boyfriend and he took it to Poland, and the other one to my friend and I’m thinking of getting the ebooks to reread them because I miss my babies so much.

What are your favorite fantasy books? Any recommendations? Let me know!

Until next time,

L
